Superintendent of Schools
Wiley Dobbs, Ph.D.

The Superintendent supervises all activities of the Twin Falls School District and formulates school objectives, policies, plans, and programs. He prepares facts and explanations to assist the Board of Trustees in its duty of directing the school district. He is the board's chief executive officer and has the power to act for the board as delegated. The Superintendent directs the preparation of the annual budget and represents the school board in negotiations. He represents the district in dealing with other school systems, institutions and agencies, community organizations, and the public. He also has the authority to consolidate classes, assign pupils to buildings and classes, transfer pupils from one attendance area to another, and may (with the recommendation of the building principal) suspend pupils from school with cause.

Associate Superintendent
Patti O'Dell

The Associate Superintendent oversees plant facilities, transportation, and technology. She works closely with the district administrators, faculty, contractors, and school patrons to meet the educational needs of the school system. She is also responsible for the Title I, Migrant, and ESL programs. Contact her if you have questions or concerns regarding the condition of district facilities or grounds, have a questions about bus service, or need information on the district's efforts to meet the needs of students who do not speak English. In addition, the associate superintendent maintains close contact with all departments and schools in planning and anticipating personnel needs. She is responsible for helping employees resolve complaints, grievances, and other personnel management issues. She works with principals on difficult or sensitive personnel matters; assists in the development and interpretation of personnel regulations and policies; and develops and recommends salary policy and structure. Contact the associate superintendent if you are having personnel problems, are being sexually harassed, have concerns about the Americans with Disabilities Act or the Family Medical Leave Act, or need a resource on Labor Law.

Clerk of the Board & Secretary to the Superintendent
Michelle Lucas

The Clerk is available if you need something notarized, need help interpreting district policy, need information about board meetings or hearings, would like to be placed on the board meeting agenda, the principals' meeting agenda, or the PTA/PTO advisory board meeting agenda, or need information on attendance.

Fiscal Affairs Director
Bob Seaman, CPA

The Fiscal Affairs Director assists with the district's financial management. He participates in budget preparation, distribution, and administration; directs the preparation of financial and accounting reports; provides information regarding district financial books, records, and reports; directs, plans, and coordinates financial data processing activities; supervises district investments, purchasing procedures, accounts payable processes, and payroll authorizations; and enacts controls over district cash management. Contact the director for audit, financial, budget or procedural information, assistance with accounting, budget preparation, or grant applications, or need a specific report.

Assistant Treasurer and Purchasing Agent
Sheila Rinehart

Contact the Assistant Treasurer if you need information on financial transactions, have a question about a purchase order, need help filling out a requisition, need your APECS number, you have received a curriculum order that has been sent directly to your facility, or have questions about vendors, catalogs, liability or property insurance, or equipment inventory procedures.

Accounts Payable Specialist
Naomi Briggs

Accounts Receivable is a resource for information about your budget, if you receive an invoice that you shouldn't have, if you have questions on paper or general supplies, have received items on a purchase order, have questions involving travel reimbursements, or are interested in renting a district facility.

Secondary Programs Director
Mary Lu Barry

The Secondary Programs Director works with district administrators to implement programs and practices that improve student learning and the school district as a learning organization. She coordinates instructional leadership training; develops, implements, and evaluates in-service training programs; works with high school and junior high school principals and staff in the development, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum assessments and new instructional materials, methods, services and programs; communicates the curriculum to staff and maintains a list of approved instructional materials; and directs secondary testing and evaluates results. The director is a resource for any questions regarding curriculum development and assessments, textbook adoption, or would like to be on a committee to improve curriculum and/or instruction.

 

 

Elementary Programs Director
Ted Popplewell

The Elementary Programs Director works with district administrators to implement programs and practices that improve student learning and the school district as a learning organization. He coordinates instructional leadership training; develops, implements, and evaluates in-service training programs; works with elementary school principals and staff in the development, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum assessments and new instructional materials, methods, services and programs; communicates the curriculum to staff and maintains a list of approved instructional materials; and directs elementary testing and evaluates results. The director is a resource for any questions regarding curriculum development and assessments, textbook adoption, or would like to be on a committee to improve curriculum and/or instruction.

Food Service Supervisor
Susan Henderson

The Food Service Supervisor pllans and supervises the preparation and serving of menus at all district schools, as well as any special meals required for district-sponsored events. She follows federal and state standards and guidelines in the operation of the school food service program, set prices, accepts bids from food providers, and maintains an inventory of all food and equipment. The supervisor should be contacted if you have questions about the food service employee salary schedule, need refreshments for a meeting, didn't receive your food, or have a problem with a menu.

Human Relations Specialist
Sonia DeLeon

The Human Relations Specialist maintains certified and classified employee records. She is available to answer questions regarding employment, job descriptions, certification renewal dates, additional credits for course work, salary placement, sick leave bank, or leaves of absence.

Payroll Specialist
AnnDee Daniels

Contact the Payroll Specialist if you have a question about your paycheck, payroll direct deposit, want to change your W4 withholdings, need to add or delete family members on your insurance, need to update your address or phone number, want to know how many sick, personal, or vacation days you have accumulated, need information on the sick leave bank, need to file a workers' compensation claim, or are ready to retire.

Communications/Public Relations
Lisa O'Leary

The Communications/Public Relations Specialist coordinates internal and external district communications, plans district events, works with staff and media to promote and cover district events, prepares publications and promotional materials, and maintains the district website. Contact the specialist if you have information that you would like to release to the media or would like on the website, need help designing, writing or updating materials, need copies of district produced materials, or would like to speak to someone regarding a particular subject.

Information Technology Department Coordinator
Brett Keller

Contact your building technician or the technology department if you need assistance with your password, log-in, network access or connectivity, network printers, e-mail account, user folders, server "share" folders, building's computer lab, district-purchased software, or classroom phone.
